Contingency search -

In this case a fee is paid only if the candidate we present takes the position. In other words, the fee is contingent on our candidate being hired. There is no commitment from the hiring organization to use a contingency firm exclusively, although using numerous agencies may not be advantageous. Contingency search assignments are used to produce resumes and candidates and find "winning" contenders for the position needing to be filled. Our placement specialists interview candidates, typically over the telephone, before submitting resumes to our clients. Since there is no commitment on either side in a contingency search, our firm may also forward the same resume to other organizations as well.

Contingency search assignments are very popular for entry or mid-level management positions with salaries under $80,000 and when there is a wide pool of potential candidates for a particular position. They are also used best when the position needs to be filled immediately and the job requires clearly defined skills and experiences.
